Deadline for applicants: Sunday, November 10

Hi there!

We’re looking for an intern who is willing to learn a lot about web development.

Here at GenieWords we run very fast, and the path from idea to development is very short.

We work with online marketing for small businesses in Denmark, but we expect to look out in the horizon within the next years. Our business is SaS (Software and service). We have built a platform integrating with Google Ads, Facebook, machine learning and much more. The platform makes us capable at servicing thousands of small businesses with limited human ressources.

About us

Our platform is built with Firebase, a back-end as an API built in NodeJS and a front-end in React. We keep everything within Javascript.

We use Jira to keep track of our progress and we work scrum based. We usually do sprints lasting 7-14 days depending on the tasks in the pipeline.

We are a young and agile team. Our average age is 28 years old.

We all speak Danish and we welcome all English speaking colleagues.

About you

You strive at becoming a better developer every single day.
You have an idea about Javascript. However, you don’t need to be a guru within the language.
You like to be among ambitious people and join us for celebrations as we grow.

What can you expect

  • During this internship you will be working closely with our CTO.
  • We like freedom and we like deadlines. Working hours are flexible.
  • Free lunch, wuhu!
  • You can expect to become a much better Javascript developer that you could ever imagine before you started.

The process

  • We will invite you in for an interview if your profile match the requirements.
  • For the second meeting you’ll be given two simple tasks. In these tasks we will test your skills within Javascript and the way you work. No stress – We don’t expect you to finish the tests perfectly, it’s just for us to get a better understanding on how you work.
  • If this goes well we are happy to take you in!

If this sounds interesting to you, or you have more questions please feel free to contact Phillip Stemann:
